Lady Vengeance is a Los Angeles-based alternative punk band with a bold, electrifying sound. The group, composed of five UCLA students, draws inspiration from early 2000s punk and rock icons like Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age. Blending raw energy with gothic and grunge aesthetics, they’ve become a standout in Westwood’s underground music scene, known for their theatrical and high-energy live performances.

The band began as a collaboration between lead singer Colette Basset and guitarist Kate Ahn, who bonded over their shared love of the 2006 Korean thriller Lady Vengeance. Over time, they welcomed rhythm guitarist Christian Savage, drummer Ollie Mangulabnan, and bassist Cas Knight, each bringing unique musical influences to the group. Together, they’ve crafted a sound that’s both eclectic and cohesive, shaped by their diverse backgrounds ranging from classical training to self-taught artistry.

Signed to Cherry Pop Records, Lady Vengeance is currently recording their debut EP, set for release in early Summer 2025. Their music explores themes of nonconformity and experimentation, offering listeners a visceral, unapologetic experience that redefines the sound of Westwood’s punk scene.
